The aim of the center
AIMS AND FIELDS OF ACTIVITY
To raise the quality of the university's language education and training with the support of specialists in this field,
To research and apply language teaching methods,
To teach the language and language of university students and staff with the latest technology and methods based on national and international language teaching standards,
To cooperate with institutions related to language teaching in and out of the country, to organize common seminars and information festivals,
To make language teaching more efficient, to do comparative scientific studies between Turkish and foreign languages,
To provide technical, scientific and social support within the framework of local and foreign research center facilities that will be in research and examination on Turkish language and other languages,
To provide the research results related to the subject in the form of journals, books, catalogs, encyclopedias or on the internet in case the researchers are willing and the Board of Directors approves it,
To do research and practice on the teaching of Turkish and other languages,
To organize and implement special and general purpose language courses for the instructors who work in different academic units depending on the Rectorate when necessary,
To teach Turkish to foreign students and other students who come to the university,
To teach the necessary languages to university students going to universities abroad,
To make examinations for Turkish language level for foreign nationals and give appropriate certificates,
To teach Turkish language to strangers, to Turkish children abroad and to other tenderers.
The missions of the center are:
- to create an education-teaching environment in which effective and efficient methods are used to teach Turkic and other world languages, and languages are nurtured through interaction,
- to be engaged in research, application and publication activities related to Turkish language and culture,
- to lead the work done in this area,
- to ensure the introduction of Turkey and Turkish culture.
Vision
Our vision is to become a leading institution in the world and Turkey based on scientific approach, universal view and contemporary methods and techniques in the teaching of Turkish and other world languages.
