5th National Theatre Festival Takes the Stage at NEVÜ
Organized by the Theatre Club of Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University (NEVÜ), the 5th National Theatre Festival brings together university theatre clubs and theatre groups from various cities across Turkey.
The festival, which will continue until May 16, 2025, is being held at the NEVÜ Vali Şinasi Kuş Culture and Congress Center. Throughout the event, the stage will welcome performances by the NEVÜ Theatre Club, Van Yüzüncü Yıl University Theatre Group, Kastamonu University Taşköprü Vocational School of Performing Arts Group, Ondokuz Mayıs University Theatre Group, Trabzon-based Tiyatro Trafik, NEROS Academy, and Grup Empati. These groups will present a wide array of engaging plays to theatre lovers.
Held under the theme “Let Our Stage Live On, Let Our Light Never Fade”, the festival offers free performances open to both students and the general public during daytime and evening sessions. In addition to theatrical performances, the program features workshops, discussions, and interactive artistic events, enriching the cultural experience for all participants.
