NEVÜ Hosts University Promotion Fair with Strong Participation from MBA Schools in Nevşehir
Organized by the Anatolian Universities Association (AÜB) and hosted by Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University (NEVÜ), the University Promotion Fair attracted significant attention from high schools affiliated with the MBA Schools across the Nevşehir region.
Held in the Foyer Area of the NEVÜ Vali Şinasi Kuş Culture and Congress Center, the fair brought together representatives from 18 universities. The opening ceremony was attended by NEVÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Semih Aktekin, Nevşehir Provincial Director of National Education Yusuf Yazıcı, NEVÜ’s academic and administrative staff, representatives from AÜB member universities, MBA School administrators, teachers, and prospective university students.
In his speech, Rector Prof. Dr. Semih Aktekin emphasized the importance of such fairs in providing crucial guidance to senior high school students preparing for the university entrance exam, particularly during their preference period. Highlighting that the Anatolian Universities Association continues to organize similar fairs in different provinces this year, Aktekin stated, “We are now organizing the third University Promotion Fair with the participation of 18 state and foundation universities. Our students will have the opportunity to gather detailed information about university departments, academic programs, student services, and the social life in different cities.”
He also stressed that students are facing one of the most critical decisions of their lives and encouraged them to actively visit the stands and ask questions about the programs they are interested in. Concluding his remarks, Rector Aktekin thanked the Anatolian Universities Association, participating universities, and everyone who contributed to organizing the event, and wished all students success in their academic and career paths.
Following the speeches, Rector Aktekin officially opened the fair alongside the participants and visited the university booths to receive information firsthand.
Strong Participation from MBA Schools
High school students from various MBA Schools in Nevşehir attended the fair accompanied by their teachers. At the promotional stands, students received informational brochures and gifts to support them during the university selection process.
In addition, students from the Department of Music Education at NEVÜ’s Faculty of Education performed throughout the event, delivering a delightful musical experience for all attendees.
